Kickstarter countdown, 16 days
Posted: May 10, 2012 Filed under: Uncategorized 1 Comment »The response to the Kickstarter campaign has been great so far!
With 16 days to go we have 30 backers and $1875 in pledged support. Ultimately, we’d like to reach our financial goal of $5000, plus have at least 100 subscribers in place by the close of the Kickstarter campaign. Thanks to all of you who have sent out the link on Twitter and Facebook. Keep it up! If you believe in what we’re doing, your “word of mouth” is vital.
I’m starting to receive submissions from the first issue’s writers, and they are fantastic. I want to tell you about one right now.
Theresa Cho is a pastor in San Francisco. A woman of Korean descent, Theresa offers us a glimpse into a world where “it’s never been done that way before” takes on a whole new host of meanings. Theresa has been a vocal advocate for change in her denomination, but, all the while, respecting those giants of the faith who have come before. As an Asian-American clergywoman, Theresa is wrestling with what it means to help the church move forward. It’s a powerful read and one I can’t wait for you to experience yourself.
Here’s a way you can continue to help out:
Weekends are big times for links on Twitter and Facebook since there’s relatively little content produced by the news outlets, etc. This is a perfect time to get the word out. the campaign ends two weeks from Sunday and now’s the time for the push. Would you spread the word about PLGRM’s Kickstarter several times this weekend? The more links the better. A few of you became backers because you said you saw the link a few times.
